Picture Upload Not Supported By Blog Issue in Live Writer 2009

I seem to have
stumbled across another bug in Windows Live Writer where you may
get an error when posting an entry that contains an image. This
error does not always occur.
Fortunately, there is a simple workaround. If you see the error, open the Blogs menu and choose Edit blog settings. Proceed through all the steps of wizard clicking Next then click OK to close the settings. You should now be able to post images again.
I posted this bug to the Windows Live Writer Forum.
Update : newer versions of AtomSite 1.0+ have a permanent workaround for this bug.

I'm the guy who posted the bug "Unable to Retrieve post from server" the problem was that at first i added a wordpress.com account to writer and then I stopped working on this blog anymore and i created a new blog on blogger.com. Instead of me creating a new account in writer for "blogger.com" blog, i modified the one that was for wordpress.com and typed in the blogger account details. for some reason and without me noticing it, writer kept on treating my blog (even after typing in the account info for blogger blog) as a wordpress blog. Of course due to dissimilarities between data handling and requests between blogger.com and wordpress.com writer kept on throwing errors at my face (becaus eit's dealing with blogger.com with wordpress.com techniques. until i noticed this, so the solution was: To delete my account in writer and create a new fresh one. now it works flawlessly. Hope this helps anybody.

My Chrome tab just hung while trying to save this comment so I tried again with Firefox, which didn't post it, but kept telling me that jquery was busy. Trying again from IE, still hung my browser... Trying one last time from IE again but 'providing details' rather than logging in with openid...
